Tina Fey On Her ‘Mean Girls’ Leading Lady, Lindsay Lohan: ‘I Hope She Gets Well’

Tina Fey has opened up regarding her troubled former “Mean Girls” lead actress, Lindsay Lohan.

“Lindsay is in rehab now? Right? We think?” Tina asked host Andy Cohen during an appearance on Andy’s Bravo show, “Watch What Happens Live,” on Thursday. “I think that’s good [that she’s in rehab]. Yeah.”

The hilarious “30 Rock” star/creator, who wrote and starred in 2004’s hit high school clique comedy, “Mean Girls,” casting Lindsay in the lead role of Cady Heron, said she hasn’t seen the actress “in a long time,” but is hoping for the best.

“[Lindsay’s] so great, and such a beautiful girl,” the “Saturday Night Live” alum said. “I hope she gets well.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Lindsay was released from jail on $300,000 bail last Friday, and is allegedly in rehab at the Betty Ford Center in Southern California after failing court-mandated drug tests.
