Tina Fey Talks Hosting Oscars: ‘No Way’

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler nailed it as the hosts of this year’s Golden Globes Awards, so would Tina ever consider hosting the Oscars?

Unfortunately, the “30 Rock” creator says it’s not in the cards.

“I just feel like that gig is so hard,” she told The Huffington Post, when asked if it’s a possibility that she (either with or without Amy) would host the Academy Awards. “Especially for, like, a woman — the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone … no way.”

When pressed to say there might be a “one in a million chance,” the former “Saturday Night Live” star wouldn’t even budge.

“I wish I could tell you there was,” she said.

And Tina isn’t the only star to say “no way” to the sophisticated gig.

On Monday, Seth MacFarlane (who hosted this year’s show) was asked by one of his 3.8 million Twitter followers if he would helm the Oscars again if asked, to which he replied, “No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though.

“The Oscars is basically the Kobayashi Maru test,” he later added, referencing the unwinnable training exam given at “Star Trek’s” Starfleet Academy.
