TLC’s Chilli Still Doesn’t ‘Want No Scrubs’; Says No One ‘Should Settle – Settling Is For Houses’

Still radiant and stunning at 40 years old, TLC singer Chilli has chronicled her search for a soulmate on her VH1 reality show, “What Chilli Wants,” and though her famed selectivity may greatly reduce her chance of finding “The One,” the beauty defends her pickiness when it comes to choosing a partner.

“There’s no such thing as being too picky,” Chilli told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Friday’s Access Hollywood Live of her legendary “pickiness.” “I know exactly what I want. I know the things I can bring to the table. I’ve learned my lessons — you know what I mean?

“When you learn from your mistakes, then as you get older, you don’t settle,” she continued. “I don’t think anybody should settle. Settling is for houses. That’s what you do — you settle in a house not in a relationship.”

Chilli — who was in Los Angeles to host the SoftSheen Carson “Pictures of Strength” Charity event on Saturday at the Westfield Culver City Mall in Culver City, Calif., — recently wrapped production on the second season of her reality show, and the “Waterfalls” singer remains hopeful she’ll find love.

“The first season I was set up on blind dates. That’s not good,” she told Billy and Kit. “The second season I was more excited ‘cause, you know, I had a hand in picking the guys. But I’m very particular and I pay attention to everything, so when I see some red flags, I’m like, ‘Uh!’ I don’t waste time.”

Chilli also doesn’t waste time when it comes to working out — Billy and Kit were awestruck by the star’s famous abs – which she bared for our cameras… twice! — and immediately set out to think of a man that would meet the musician’s standards.

“What is the number one quality a man must have?” Billy asked.

“Well, he has to believe in God,” Chili answered.

“What’s the one thing if they did it’d be like, ‘You are out’?” Kit continued.

“Smoke cigarettes,” Chilli answered, without a moment’s hesitation.

“Charlie [Sheen] would not be the man for you – a smoking atheist!” Billy joked, as the three erupted into laughter.
