Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes both stepped out on Monday night, albeit separately on different continents.
Tom appeared to be in good spirits at the premiere of his latest movies, “Jack Reacher,” in London, where the actor flashed his trademark smile for his fans.
The action movie premiere marks Tom’s first red carpet appearance since his June divorce with Katie. The 50-year-old, who has been busy filming the upcoming sci-fi movie “Oblivion” and spending time with daughter Suri, has stayed out of the limelight in recent months.
On the other side of the pond, Katie also hit the town in New York City at the 2012 Broadway Dreams Foundation “Champagne And Caroling” Gala, where she rubbed elbows with young theater students and watched their performances.
The 33-year-old, who is currently starring on Broadway in “Dead Accounts,” was all smiles in a purple dress by Vivienne Westwood.
A gala attendee told People that the actress seemed to be excited to be at the event.
“She was just really happy to be here and felt blessed. She had a genuine happiness about her and was just loving the [theater] environment,” the attendee told the mag.
After posing for photos with students, Katie reportedly left the event with a smile.
