Tracy Morgan Hospitalized After Collapsing At 2012 Sundance Film Festival; Rep Denies Actor Was Drinking

Tracy Morgan’s trip to the Sundance Film Festival took a turn for the worse on Sunday when the actor was rushed to a hospital in Park City, Utah.

After an appearance at Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards where he received an award, the “30 Rock” star collapsed and was escorted out of the building, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor’s rep told Access Hollywood that problems arose for Morgan “from a combination of exhaustion and altitude.”

“He is with his fiancee and is grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care,” Morgan’s rep said in a statement. “Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false.”

The actor, who has diabetes and had a kidney transplant in December 2010, was honored with the Spotlight Initiative Award on Sunday. His film, “Predisposed,” is screening at the annual film festival.
