Tracy Morgan Still Critical But ‘More Responsive’; Actor’s Injuries Revealed

Tracy Morgan is still in critical condition following a serious six-car collision on Saturday morning, but the actor has shown a bit of improvement today, according to his rep.

“While Tracy remains in critical condition, he has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign,” his rep told Access Hollywood in a statement on Sunday. “He sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs.

“He had surgery earlier today on his leg. We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks,” the rep continued. “His family is tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, a limo bus carrying Morgan and six others overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike early Saturday morning.

One passenger on the bus, comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair, died in the crash, according to police, while three other men (including Morgan) were taken to the hospital. Two other passengers were not injured.
