‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon’ Beauty Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Defends Michael Bay: I Never Felt ‘Uncomfortable’

Shia LaBeouf made headlines earlier this week after hinting that his former “Transformers” franchise co-star, Megan Fox (who has been replaced by Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the upcoming third installment), was uncomfortable with what some may call director Michael Bay’s “lascivious” approach to filming actresses.

However, Rosie, who worked with Michael during her Victoria’s Secret days prior to taking a role in the sci-fi robot film, has come to the defense of the famed director.

“I think what Shia was saying was that Michael loves women, and I think he films women in a very sensual way,” Rosie told Access Hollywood at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday. “My character is much different than [Megan’s] character – she’s very sophisticated. We had great fun.

“I never feel uncomfortable with Michael. And if I do, I make sure I tell him,” she added. “He’s always respects it.”

The 24-year-old bombshell – who was on hand to accept the “Our New Girlfriend” award – is aware that her life will most likely change drastically when “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” hits theaters, but Rosie said she’s “ready” for fame.

“I am ready. It’s been a long year waiting for it to happen,” she told Access. “We shot for seven months. It was a big roller coaster, so I’m ready to bite the bullet and see what happens when it comes out.

“I’m really excited,” she added with a smile.

See Rosie accept her award when the 2011 Guys Choice Awards air on Friday at 9 PM on Spike, and catch her big screen debut when “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” hits theaters on June 29.
