Trista Sutter Defends ‘Bachelor’ Alum Juan Pablo Galavis

“Bachelorette” alum Trista Sutter has come out in defense of the most recent “Bachelor,” Juan Pablo Galavis.

Asked if she thought it was fair that he’s been called the worst “Bachelor” of all time, Trista said, no.

“I don’t think that’s fair, for sure,” Trista told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Friday.

“I think that he’s definitely been given a bad rap. I know that he’s a good guy at heart, because of people that I know through the show,” she added. “I think that, personally, a lot of it has to do with the language barrier. I think that he would say certain things and they came across a certain way and he wasn’t intending them to be taken the way that they were.”

Trista currently appears on WeTV’s “Marriage Boot Camp,” with husband Ryan Sutter (Friday’s at 9/8c).

Juan Pablo is going to be on “Couples Therapy” on VH1, with his girlfriend Nikki Ferrell. “Couples Therapy” returns to VH1 in September for Season 5.
