‘True Blood’ Adds 2 New Faces To Cast

HBO is adding some new faces to the mix for the upcoming Season 3 of the hit show “True Blood.”

Marshall Allman, who “Prison Break” fans will recognize as Dominic Purcell’s son LJ, will join the cast as Sam Merlotte’s (Sam Trammell) younger brother Tommy Mickens, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

No clues were given as to wheter Tommy will share his brother’s shape-shifting abilities.

Allman’s other TV credits include guest roles on “Mad Men,” “Eli Stone,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Law & Order: SVU.”

Also joining the cast is Shannon Lucio, who will step into the role of Bill Compton’s wife, Caroline, who Bill (Stephen Moyer) left behind after being turned into a vampire during the Civil War.

Lucio also comes from the “Prison Break” camp, where she played the recurring character Trishanne. “Grey’s Anatomy” fans will recognize the actress from her role as Amanda, the young woman who George O’Malley (T.R. Knight) fatefully saved from being hit by a bus at the end of last season, only to sacrifice his own life.

She previously played the role of Lindsay Gardner on “The O.C.” in 2005.

While Allman will be a recurring character on “True Blood” Season 3, Lucio will be a guest role, HBO confirmed.

The new season of “True Blood” premieres in Summer 2010.
