True Blood Fairy Heading To Grimm

Kristina Anapau is temporarily trading her fairy wings for a wooly outer coat.

The “True Blood” actress, who plays fairy Maurella on the HBO series, is heading to NBC’s “Grimm.”

Anapau has landed a guest starring role on the fairytale-based show, according to TVLine.

The actress will play Megan Marston, a “quiet, sheepish secretary working at a Wesen (creature) church,” the website reported.

Like many characters on the fantasy series, Anapau’s character will be more than she appears, as she is actually a “sheep-like character dubbed a Seelengut,” according to TVLine.

The episode, fifth in “Grimm’s” current season, is titled “Good Shepherd” and was inspired by the classic fable of the wolf in sheep’s clothing, the website reported.

Anapau is not the first “True Blood” alum to make an appearance on “Grimm.”

Jessica Tuck (who played former head of The Vampire Authority Nan Flanagan on the HBO hit), played Catherine Schade on “Grimm,” the potion-brewing Hexenbiest mother of Adalind Schade, who met her demise at the hand of Det. Burkhardt’s mother on Monday’s episode.

“Grimm” airs on Mondays at 10/9c on NBC, but will return to its regular timeslot on Friday, September 21 at 9/8c.
