The shots, released by the network on Friday, feature former “Law & Order: SVU” Christopher Meloni holding a dagger-like device in his role as a member of the Vampire Authority.

It also appears Scott Foley, who briefly appeared at the end of Season 4 in a scene with Terry, may figure prominently into the drama this season, as two photos of the recent “Grey’s Anatomy” alum were dropped.

Elsewhere, fans got their first look at “Cougar Town” and “General Hospital” actress Carolyn Hennesy in her new role as a vampire, and Peter Mensah, most recently of “Spartacus: Vengeance,” who is playing another Vampire Authority member.

In addition to the newcomers, there were also brand new pics released of regulars Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Alcide (Joe Manganiello), and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten).

Noticeably absent from the series of shots was Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). Like the campaign says, “waiting sucks.”

“True Blood” returns on June 10 at 9 PM on HBO.
