Tyra Banks: ‘I Will Have Children, Whether They Come Out Of Me Or Come To Me’

Tyra Banks is going to be a mother – one way or another!

The 38-year-old supermodel-turned-media mogul stopped by Access Hollywood Live for Tuesday’s show, where she chatted with co-hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about her desire to become a parent.

“I will have children, whether they come out of me or come to me,” Tyra said.

“I’m open to [adopting]. I’m definitely open,” she said. “I’ve been wanting to do that since before it was cool.”

The “America’s Next Top Model” creator and star said her desire to have a family goes back to when she was just a kid.

“Since I was 9 years old, I’d be like, ‘Mommy! I want a baby, but it don’t have to be my baby and I can take it from over there and I can raise the baby.’ She’s like, ‘That’s called adoption,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, mommy, I want to do that.’ So, since I was 9,” she said.

Tyra explained that she’s not currently in a relationship, but she’s “dating.”

And when she does get serious, the supermodel keeps it low key and out of the spotlight.

“It’s just very private and they’re not famous,” she told Billy and Kit of the men in her life. “That’s why people don’t think I’m doing anything.”
