“Unbreakable
Kimmy Schmidt” is getting in “Formation” for Season 3.
The Netflix
comedy channeled Beyoncé to announce its May 19 return,
dropping a teaser on Monday which features Emmy nominee Tituss Burgess donning
full “Lemonade” regalia.
First reenacting Bey’s
black-and-white “Sorry” video, the actor’s small screen alter ego, Titus
Andromedon, gets irritated when his tribute to the music superstar is interrupted.

“Kimberly! Use your key! I’m ‘Lemonade’-ing,” Titus shouts, after an off-screen knock from Ellie Kemper’s title character.
The clip moves on to show Titus wielding a baseball bat through the streets of New York, dressed in a replica of Bey’s ruffled yellow dress from her “Hold Up” vid.

Parodying the video’s signature sequence, Titus gleefully destroys city property, including a fire hydrant, before smashing the windows of beau Mikey’s truck.
“Hell nah, I ain’t playing with you, Michael,” he sings, switching up Bey’s original lyrics.
“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” Season 3 premieres May 19 on Netflix.
