UPDATE: Bobby Brown Now Says He Didn’t Have Heart Attack

UPDATE (Thursday morning, October 11, 2007) — Bobby Brown changed his tune late Wednesday night, telling the Associated Press that in fact, he did not have a heart attack, as his lawyer told Access Hollywood (and several other outlets) on earlier in the day.

“None of it’s true,” Brown told the AP. “I went in for a checkup. The doc gave me a clean bill of health.”

Video of Brown in a hospital bed, offering pseudo-goodbyes to love ones, which was posted on paparazzi agency X17 Online’s Web site on Wednesday, was removed on Thursday morning and no longer being offered to media agencies for purchase.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (October 10, 2007) – Singer Bobby Brown suffered a minor heart attack yesterday and is now recovering, his attorney confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Attorney Phaedra Parks told Access that Bobby, “went to the hospital yesterday with severe chest pains and today they found out that he had had a mild heart attack. He has just been released and his prognosis is good. He has a show scheduled for Saturday and he wants to go to it. He wants to tell his fans he’s thankful for their well wishes and prayers and would like them to keep him in their prayers for a speedy recovery.”

Brown was reportedly rushed yesterday to the Tarzana Regional Medical Center in LA.

According to People, Brown, who had not experienced any previous heart problems, is scheduled to perform at the V100 Taste of Soul concert and festival in LA on October 13.
