UPDATED: AT&T Parts Ways With Tiger Woods

AT&T has become the latest company to part ways with Tiger Woods.

On Thursday, the telecommunications giant ended its relationship with Woods, one day after the golf star’s 34th birthday.

“We are ending our sponsorship agreement with Tiger Woods and wish him well in the future,” a rep for AT&T told Access Hollywood.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Accenture was the first company to part ways with the golfer, followed by Gillette. Other brands including NIKE and Tag Heuer have chosen to stand by the star who recently admitted on his Web site to “infidelity.”

Tag Heuer however did release a statement to the New York Times earlier this month noting they would “downscale the use of his image in certain markets for a period of time.”

Several weeks ago, Woods announced that he would be taking an indefinite break from the sport to focus on his family, admitting to “infidelity” after a two-week media firestorm that exploded after his unexplained November 27 car accident.
