UPDATED Bodyguard Served Over Britney’s Parenting Skills

Days after Britney Spears’ former assistant Alli Sims was served commando-style at a Hollywood party, a bodyguard for the singer was handed deposition papers as well.

Damon Shippen, who has served as a bodyguard for Spears was given legal papers by Aaron Cohen’s IMS Security, a company of Israeli-style security agents, last night.

A source close to Kevin Federline told Access Hollywood the papers are related to Britney’s parenting. Shippen will be required, like Sims to testify in court over Britney’s behavior with her children.

Shippen had just finished parking his car when Cohen himself served him with two subpoenas. Unlike the hand-off to Alli Sims where she jumped, yelling “I didn’t touch it,” Shippen took the documents without incident.

Shippen opened the envelope at the scene and appeared “totally shocked,” a source on scene told Access.

It is unclear if Shippen is still in the employment of Spears. He has not been spotted with the star in three weeks and sources say he may be working for another high profile female celebrity.

Shippen seemed to drop out of the spotlight after reports surfaced he was romancing the “Toxic” singing superstar, last month.

Prior to allegations of a relationship, Shippen worked for Spears while she was married to Kevin Federline. He is the bodyguard who helped Britney catch her oldest child – Sean Preston when she tripped while carrying him in New York City.

On Monday, the source told Access Hollywood, that in addition to Sims, around ten people were expected to be served with legal papers, ordering them to testify on Britney’s parenting skills.

Today, the source in Federline’s camp told Access Hollywood, the next person expected to be served legal papers by a rep for K-Fed’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan should receive those notices in the very near future.

“Reconnaissance and surveillance are ongoing,” the source told Access. “Aaron Cohen of IMS Security and his team are currently conducting the recon mission to gather intelligence of the area of operations, which is presently under surveillance.

“The mission began at 1100 hours this morning for the person who is Target #3,” the source continued. “That person will be receiving their Christmas gift in August. Mark Vincent Kaplan is using military strategy in a General Patton type of way to gain the information he needs in this case.”

Britney’s parenting has been called into question by people other than Kevin Federline and his legal team.

Last year, Child Protection Services were called to Spears’ home at the time (with Federline) because Sean Preston had fallen out of a high chair.

On another occasion, Spears was caught by paparazzi with the baby on her lap, not in a car seat, as she drove around in Los Angeles.

Another incident chronicled the singer driving Sean P in Malibu, in the back seat of her Mini Cooper, exposed to the elements.

Most recently Spears has been criticized for taking her children out for dinners, past 10 PM in the evening.

Access Hollywood has reached out for comment to reps for Kevin Federline, Alli Sims and Spears. At press time, calls had not been returned.
