UPDATED: Charlie Sheen Rips ‘Two And A Half Men’; Lashes Out Against Alcoholics Anonymous

Charlie Sheen called into a nationally syndicated radio show on Thursday and unleashed a shocking rant in which he attacked Alcoholics Anonymous and his hit CBS show, “Two and a Half Men.”

“I was told if I went on the attack, they would cancel the show and all that and so I’m just sort of seeing if they’re telling the truth or not,” Charlie claimed to host Alex Jones in an interview for his radio show, “The Alex Jones Show,” on Thursday, referring to his CBS bosses.

“Are they happy with the $5 billion they already made off me or do they think they can turn it into $10 [billion] in a couple more seasons?” Charlie continued. “I’m just saying, you know [the show] is a runaway freakin’ juggernaut.”

Charlie made it abundantly clear he doesn’t believe the show can survive without him, telling Alex, “Watch your ratings, dudes. Watch your stupid ratings.

“Do what you’ve gotta do — I’ll go make movies with superstars and not work with idiots,” he threatened.

The 45-year-old also blasted show creator Chuck Lorre, calling him a “turd” while claiming that he embarrassed Chuck “in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his un-evolved mind cannot process.”

Charlie claims to be 100 percent sober, though he refuses to use the word “sober” because it is a term used by “those people,” AKA Alcoholics Anonymous.

“I’ve cleansed myself,” Charlie told Alex of how he claims to have rid himself of addiction. “I closed my eyes and in a nanosecond, I cured myself from this ridiculous model of disease and addiction and obsession… The only thing i’m addicted to right now is winning.

“I have a disease?” he later added. “I cured it with my brain, with my mind. I’m cured. I’m done.”

Charlie went on to further rip into the 12-step program, calling AA — for which he has attended meetings in the past — a “cult” and “a bunch of losers,” who he claims are “brainwashing his family.”

“I don’t know enough about what I call the ‘Church of the Martian Idiots’ truly to comment on what they profess to believe in,” Charlie told Alex of AA. “I always thought of [it] as like a really complicated long joke with no good punch line… 22 years around those impressive clowns and losers — I just, you know, finally extracted myself from their troll hole and started living my life the way I want to live it because AA does not teach you how to live your life the way you want to live it.

“[AA] is vintage, it’s outdated, it’s stupid and it’s worshiped by stupid people and it is their fault,” he continued. “It’s like, ‘Oh you can’t blame people for, you know, being dumb.’ It’s like, they’re as dumb as what they’ve been taught… Step up and change it, change it right now. Look your father in the eye and say, ‘You’re wrong, I’m different I’m better, watch me, watch me bury you.’”

“Man, Charlie, you’re describing this — you’re saying you’ve come out of a cult after 20 years and that’s why you’re on fire?” Alex asked.

“They suffocated my soul, they hijacked my brain, they brainwashed my friends and my family,” Charlie told the host. “Now I hate them violently and I will use every soldier in my army to defend myself against them, ‘cause they will come at me. They will come at me with all of their doctors and their talking heads and all their other freakin’ loser clowns.

“And shame on these outlets that give these people the time to speak about me,” Charlie continued. “How dare they speak of me? We’ve never met — how dare they? That’s another thing, another one of my credos. Everybody has a blackbelt and carries a gun. I don’t mess with people — I don’t get up in people’s grills and tell them, you know, ‘I must now impose my silly will on you.’”

In a statement released to Access on Thursday, a spokesperson for Alcoholics Anonymous responded to Charlie’s comments saying, “People have a right to their opinions. We’ve been around for 75 years and have helped millions of people obtain sobriety.

“There are many paths to sobriety, sometimes through spirituality, through medication, through therapy, a lot of different ways,” the statement continued. “We just know that AA has worked for millions of people. We are not a cult but we are a powerful movement “

Despite his seemingly outrageous behavior, Charlie said he plans on being back to work at his CBS show when production resumes on Tuesday.

“I’ll be early,” he told Alex. “I don’t sleep – I wait.”

While it was previously reported that Charlie would return to the set on February 28, his rep, Stan Rosenfield, told the Associated Press on Thursday that the actor plans to return to work on Tuesday, March 1.

Rosenfield had no comment on Charlie’s latest interview when contacted by Access Hollywood on Thursday, nor did Warner Brothers, which produces “Two and a Half Men.”
