UPDATED: Paris Hilton Tweets Over Intruder Arrested Outside Of Her Home

An intruder was arrested outside of Paris Hilton’s Los Angeles-area home on Tuesday, after an alleged scuffle with security guards.

James Rainford, 36, was arrested by LAPD for alleged battery, after security guards confronted him after he was allegedly banging the front door of Paris’ home, police confirmed to Access Hollywood.

Shortly after noon on Tuesday, Rainford was able to ride his bicycle past the security gates at the gated community where Paris lives, Sgt. Mitzi Grasso of the LAPD told Access Hollywood on Tuesday evening.

While it’s unknown if Paris was home during the incident, she posted a message on her Twitter page late Tuesday night about the ordeal.

“So scary today with that creepy guy just showing up at my house like that. Thank god for security,” she Tweeted.

Rainford was being held on $20,000 bail at the Van Nuys police station.

The incident marks the second time police have been called to Paris’ home over an uninvited guest in the past two months. In late August, a man was arrested and charged with attempted burglary after he was found outside Paris’ home. According to police, the man had been banging on the starlet’s windows while carrying two big knives.
