It’s a girl for Anna Chlumsky!
The 32-year-old “Veep” star and husband Shaun So (also 32) welcomed daughter Penelope Joan So on July 11, the actress told People.
“She’s a really good mix between my husband and me,” Anna told the mag of her and Shaun’s new arrival. “When she’s with him, you see him, and when she’s with me, you see me. She’s a perfect mix.
“We think she has my mouth, but it’s hard to tell. Even the color of her eyes, they are different in different light,” she added. “But she has a really full head of hair.”
The former “My Girl” star said the joy of becoming a mother lives up to its reputation.
“You prepare for so long, and all of a sudden the baby’s here … It’s seriously the best thing,” she told the mag. “Holding her is fantastic. It’s one of the more enjoyable things. It doesn’t get boring at all. I could hold her all day.”
Anna and Shaun tied the knot in 2008, and in March announced they were expecting their first child.
In additional happy news for the actress, she received her first Emmy nomination (for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series) on Thursday morning for her performance as Amy Brookheimer on HBO’s “Veep.”
