Vin Diesel ‘Speechless’ After Seeing ‘Fast & Furious 7’ Trailer, Says Paul Walker Would Be ‘Proud’

Vin Diesel has seen the trailer for “Fast & Furious 7,” something he says the late Paul Walker would be proud of.

“Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7…,” the actor wrote on Facebook on Tuesday, while sharing what appears to be two stills from the upcoming movie.

“Speechless… yeah, it was that INCREDIBLE!” he said of the movie, which Paul was in the midst of shooting when he died in November 2013.

“I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet… we all went above and beyond to make Pablo [Paul Walker] proud,” Vin continued. “But man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we have come.”

In one photo, Vin is seen with his late co-star, both men dressed in suits. In another shot, the action star is seen bandaging his wounds in a garage.

Back in July, Vin opened up to Access Hollywood about the struggle of finishing “FF7” after Paul’s death.

“It was, needless to say, the hardest movie I’ve ever done,” Vin told Access at the time. “I remember when the tragedy happened, my mother said to me, ‘It’s not fair that you have to mourn in front of the world.’ What’s even harder is to mourn and simultaneously that the person is next to you, so every time you turn to whoever’s sitting in that chair you see not Paul.”

“Fast & Furious 7” is slated to open on April 3, 2015.
