‘Walking Dead’ Alum Benedict Samuel Joins ‘Gotham’ Season 3

“Gotham”
has recruited “The Walking Dead” alum Benedict Samuel for Season 3.

The actor,
who famously played an unnamed wolf, a member of the wolves on “The
Walking Dead,” will play Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter on the Fox show.

Jervis is
“a talented hypnotist, teetering on the edge of madness,” according
to the network’s character description. “He arrives in Gotham with an
unwavering desire to find his sister, Alice, a young woman who went missing in
the city years ago. It is anyone’s guess just how far down the rabbit hole
he’s willing to go in order to find her.”

Benedict’s “TWD” character kidnapped Dr. Denise Cloyd (Merritt Wever) in “TWD,” after getting injured. He didn’t make it out of Alexandria alive, though, after getting killed by walkers that had overrun the complex.

“Gotham” Season 3 premieres September 19 on Fox.
