It’s time for your mid-week dose of cuteness!
If you’re not into football, or want to balance your sports-watching with a good old dose of animal adorableness, Animal Planet has you covered with this year’s Puppy Bowl.
The big canine game will feature 55 puppies on two teams – Team Ruff and Team Fluff – as they battle for the win, as well as the coveted title of MVP (Most Valuable Puppy, of course!).

A touchdown will be awarded when a puppy drags a chew toy into the end zone.

To rival Super Bowl XLIX’s Katy Perry halftime show, Puppy Bowl XI will feature a feline performer dubbed Katty Furry (complete with a blue wig).

And if we’ve learned anything from YouTube in the last year, it’s that goats are extremely vocal, making them the perfect cheerleaders for the puppies.
