Watch Gigi Hadid Nail Her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Audition

Gigi Hadid
is officially “winging” it! The model has been cast in the Victoria’s
Secret Fashion Show.

The iconic
lingerie brand announced the news via social media on Thursday with a behind-the-scenes glimpse of
Gigi’s final audition, including the moment she learned she’d landed the
coveted gig.

In the clip,
the 20-year-old shows off her runway moves for a panel of VS execs, including
creative director Ed Razek.

When asked
what she’s “doing on Nov. 9 and 10,” the dates of the big event, Gigi laughs and says she doesn’t know.

“Why
don’t you join us?” Razek says, before an overjoyed Gigi crumples with
disbelief.

The bombshell
took to Instagram to share her happiness about achieving a lifelong goal.

“Couldn’t keep back my tears!!!! Anyone that grew
up with me knows that getting this show has been a dream of mine forever!”
she wrote, captioning a candid snap of her reaction.

“One of the happiest moments of my life.
#vsfashionshow2015,” she added.

It didn’t
take long for the well wishes to come pouring in. One of Gigi’s biggest – and most
famous – fans took to Twitter to congratulate the stunner within minutes of her
post.

“So
happy for you,” Joe Jonas wrote, in response to his girlfriend’s announcement.

This wasn’t Gigi’s
first shot at the VS catwalk. Her mom, “Real Housewives of Beverly
Hills” alum Yolanda Foster, told Glamour in January that her daughter had
previously tried out for the show without being selected.

 “Gigi worked so
hard to get the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and she didn’t get it. But you
know what? That’s just life. She was sad. She was boxing at Gotham gym every
day and in great shape, and it seemed like a perfect fit. But you know what? It
ended up not to be,” the reality star said.

Yolanda went on to reveal the advice she gave to help Gigi let go and
keep moving forward.

“And rather than go, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry,’ I said, ‘Hey, Gigi, that’s
life, baby. We’re not always going to get what we want, and this is not a
rejection of you, Gigi, as a human being. This is just redirection for you into
something that’s going to be much bigger,'” she continued. “She
looked at me like, ‘What do you mean?’ And I go, ‘If it’s meant to be, it’ll
happen at another time. It wasn’t meant to happen today.'”
