Watch President Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama Jam Out To Usher

Their
time in the White House may be winding down, but President Obama and the First
Lady are keeping the beat until the very end.

POTUS
and FLOTUS both got their groove on during BET’s “Love and Happiness: An
Obama Celebration” special, which aired on the network Tuesday night.

Billed
as a “love letter” to the First Couple as the President prepares to
leave office, the showcase featured rousing performances from Janelle Monae,
The Roots, Common and more. However, it was Usher’s rendition of his 1997 hit “You Make Me Wanna” that appeared to really get Mr. and Mrs. Obama
moving.

“@Michelle Obama is in the audience just flawlessly enjoying herself,” BET posted on its Twitter page, captioning a GIF of the First Lady bopping along.

The pair was spotted on their feet throughout the event, dancing and singing in the audience before later taking the stage to show off their moves alongside guests including Angela Bassett and Leslie Odom Jr.

Jesse Williams, Samuel L. Jackson, Bradley Cooper and other stars wished the Obamas a fond farewell, with Williams marveling that the President is living proof that it’s possible to be “smart and cool at the same damn time.”

While the concert marked the Obamas’ last musical event at the White House, the President assured the audience that “it’s going to be all right.”

However, despite all the fun the President joked that he still has to draw the line somewhere.

“There will be no twerking tonight,” he told the crowd. “At least not by me. I don’t know about Usher.”
