“Bachelorette” Andi Dorfman made her final choice on Monday night, but which of her former suitors will be ABC’s next “Bachelor”?
On Monday’s season finale, Josh Murray popped the question to Andi — and she accepted, sending fellow finalist Nick Viall packing. But it’s another former contestant who many fans are hoping dons the title of “The Bachelor” next season — Iowa farmer Chris Soules!
Following his elimination earlier in the season, Chris told Access Hollywood he’s ready to continue his search for love on reality TV – if he’s given the chance to hold all the roses.
“I would be very interested,” he said of getting the chance to become the next “Bachelor.”
“I think it fits me well. It fits me as a person well. It fits my lifestyle in a lot of ways and it would be hard for me to turn down an opportunity like that,” he explained.
And Twitter and former contestants Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici agree. Moments after his time ended on the ABC series, #ChrisForBachelor became a trending hashtag and Sean and Catherine rooted for Chris to get the gig.
As for who he thought Andi would end up picking between Nick and Josh, perhaps Chris has a future as a matchmaker if the whole “Bachelor” thing doesn’t work out.
“Well, I’m gonna put my money on Josh,” Chris told Access.
