Will Melissa Gilbert Return To ‘Dancing With The Stars’?

After being injured on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” Melissa Gilbert was a no-show on Tuesday’s results show – but will the actress return to the competition?

Access Hollywood caught up with her professional partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who gave an update on her health.

“She’s got a headache… she wanted to come but she wasn’t allowed,” he said of his partner who Tweeted that she a “mild concussion and whiplash” after hitting her head on Monday’s show.

“I’m not messing round with head injuries and neck injuries. [A] concussion is not something to play with,” he continued.

Does Maks think his partner will return to the ballroom?

“We’ll figure it out tomorrow. I think it’ll depend on her well-being,” he explained. “She’s very difficult in the sense that she doesn’t tell you when she’s hurt… apparently she hit her head during the rehearsals. I never knew that. She never told me… we’ll, we’ll talk it out tomorrow.”

Adding, “I don’t know what to do from this point on because we [have to] try to stay relevant in this competition.”
