Will Reeve Carries On His Father’s Legacy At Charity Event

Will Reeve, the son of Christopher and Dana Reeve, is now 15-years-old and carrying on his parents’ legacy with the strength of ten men. And, as Access Hollywood found out, Will is growing up very quickly.

“I’m about 6’1” now,” Will said. “[I] keep having to get new growth charts as I get older.”

Will Reeve has grown into a young man, one who bears a striking resemblance to his father.

After losing both his parents by the age of 14, Will’s hopeful outlook is inspiration to us all.

Will, his brother Matthew and sister Alexandra represented their father’s unbreakable spirit at “A Magical Evening” in New York City, Monday night.

“It’s a great way to honor my parents legacy. Everything they stood for is represented here tonight,” Will told Access at the event.

The Christopher Reeve Foundation has given over $8 million to research for spinal cord injuries this year.

“It’s just great to celebrate the progress the foundation has had over the past year,” Alexandra noted.

The Reeve’s great family friend, Robin Williams, made the Reeves laugh while they all posed together along with his family.

The event also hosted Meryl Streep who was presented with the Dana Reeve Hope Award, by her “Devil Wears Prada” co-star Anne Hathaway.

As the event concluded, Will told Access, he hopes one day they won’t have to hold such events.

“We will make progress and maybe not even have to have this event because we’ve made so much progress,” Will said.
