As
previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the couple announced their plans to
divorce in a joint statement released to People on Tuesday.

The former model was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, and
has been candid about her struggle in a series of blog posts.

“I
have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can’t process
information or any stimulation for that matter. It feels like someone came in
and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see
life go by without me participating in it,” she wrote in January, adding
that she intended to make it her “life mission” to help find a cure
for the illness.

Yolanda’s
“RHOBH” co-stars expressed their support for their fellow reality
star following the news of her and David’s breakup.

This was Yolanda’s second marriage and
David’s fourth. He has five daughters from previous relationships, while
Yolanda had son Anwar Hadid and supermodel daughters Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid
with first husband Mohamed Hadid.
