Despite being one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood, Zac Efron says he has no interest in playing the field.
“I think a lot of guys would enjoy that. But I’m not really like that,” the 22-year-old “Charlie St. Cloud” star told Details for its September issue when asked about dating multiple women in Hollywood.
“Believe me, I rack my brain thinking, ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’” he continued. “But it’s not in my heart.”
According to Zac, his heart lies with girlfriend and former “High School Musical” co-star Vanessa Hudgens.
“It’s exactly how it should be,” he said of their relationship. “It’s real.”
Something unreal in Zac’s life was a recent chance encounter with Tom Cruise that ended with Tom teaching the young star how to ride a motorcycle.
After running into each other at the Creative Arts Agency offices in Century City, Calif., Tom asked Zac if he knew how to ride. When Zac replied that he didn’t, Tom asked him, “You wanna learn how?”
“I don’t even want to know [why he invited me],” Zac said of Tom’s invitation. “It’s just so cool that he gave a s***. The fact that he cared at all. No one else did that.”
