Zac Efron Thanks Fans For Support After Rehab Revelation

Zac Efron has thanked fans for their support after it was revealed earlier this month that the former “High School Musical” star had completed a stint in rehab.

The 25-year-old actor spoke out for the first time since the rehab news broke, sharing a photo of himself perched atop a stone plateau at Peru’s famed Machu Picchu ruins.

“Hey guys! Just returned from an incredible trip to Peru with my dad and wanted to thank you all for your support these past few weeks,” Zac captioned the photo, posted on his Instagram page on Friday.

“Means the world to me. Love you guys! – Z” he added.

The star recently made an appearance at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, where he attended the premiere of his film “Parkland.”

“Parkland,” a drama centered around the events that took place at Parkland Hospital on the day of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, is slated for theatrical release on October 4.
