Zendaya Talks Perfect Dancing Score: I’m Planning To Even ‘Work Harder’

Zendaya and professional partner Valentin Chmerkovksiy received the first perfect score of the season on “Dancing with the Stars,” but the Disney star is not planning on taking her success for granted.

Access Hollywood caught up with the 16-year-old “Shake It Up” star after her big night – a night that she predicted last week in her AccessHollywood.com blog.

”[We’re going to] work harder than we’ve been working,” she told Access backstage on Monday night. “Which, I don’t even know how that’s possible because I’ve been working very, very, very hard.”

Val knows exactly how they can up their game.

“I’ll show you how that’s possible,” he said with a smile.

Moving forward, Zendaya’s fellow “DWTS” contestants should expect even more heat from the pair.

“We [going to] turn it up another notch,” Valentin said of their plan to continue their dance floor dominance.

With next week’s dance in the hands of the fans (viewers were asked to Tweet #AfroJazz #Flamenco #HipHop #LindyHop #Charleston or #Disco and the contestant’s name to determine which style they want to see the contestants perform), Val is a bit worried.

“I think the fans want to see her do hip-hop, but I’m a little nervous that I’m going to look like the student,” Valentin said of Zendaya’s dancing skills “But we want to give the fans what they want.”
