‘Zoey 101’s’ Victoria Justice Gets Own Series

While “Zoey 101” star Jamie Lynn Spears is busy with baby joy over new daughter, Maddie Briann, her co-star on the popular Nickelodeon show is getting her own series, Access Hollywood has learned.

Victoria Justice, who plays Lola Martinez on “Zoey 101,” has signed a television and music deal with the network that will include the starring role in a new comedy series from tween show creator Dan Schneider (“iCarly,” “Zoey 101,” “Drake & Josh”) and a co-starring role in Nickelodeon original movie “Spectacular!”

The Schneider comedy will be set in a day school for the performing arts and, in a partnership with Sony BMG, will feature original music. She’ll also be showing off her pipes in “Spectacular!,” a movie about show choirs – groups that combine chorale singing with dance movements.

Victoria previously appeared in such shows as “Gilmore Girls” and “Everwood.”

As for Jamie Lynn, her big sister, Britney, spoke to OK! recently regarding the teen star’s unexpected pregnancy.

“It was … strange because she’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby,” Britney told OK!, adding that Jamie Lynn and baby Maddie would be visiting her family in Beverly Hills soon.

“She’s going to come out here for the kids’ birthdays,” Brit said. “It will be the first time the cousins meet. I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie.”
