Ashley Judd has been the victim of nasty media attacks for weeks after her face recently appeared slightly rounder than usual.
While critics and bloggers slammed the beauty as having undergone poor cosmetic surgery, in reality, the variance was due to multiple rounds of steroid medications to treat an illness, and Ashley hit back at the rumors by writing a piece for The Daily Beast blasting the sexist and inaccurate commentary.

Sean Bean lost his head during Season 1 of HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” and he started out ABC’s “Missing,” which premiered in March, being blown up in a car. Last week, though, the ABC drama spiced things up when Ashley Judd, as ex-CIA agent Becca Winstone (in her continued search for her missing son, Michael), chased down a man only to discover it was Sean’s Paul Winstone, the husband she thought died years before.

Brad Pitt was unable to put the cat out of first place at the weekend box office.
Walt Disney’s “The Lion King” reissue was No. 1 for the second-straight weekend with $22.1 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. That puts it just ahead of Pitt’s baseball drama “Moneyball,” a Sony Pictures release that opened at No. 2 with $20.6 million.
