When looking for the perfect cocktail, the first stop is usually the liquor cabinet.
But what about looking in… your garden?!?
The guys from Bar Lab and Miami hotspot Broken Shaker joined Billy and Kit in Miami to show how to make some tasty cocktails with items from the garden, inspired by this year’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival event called “Garden to Glass.”
Here are the recipes from today’s show…
2 oz tequila
1 oz hibiscus tea
4 leaves Thai basil
.75 oz lemon juice
.50 oz simple syrup
Garnish: edible flower
Add all ingredients into a shaker, shake well and strain into a martini glass
2 oz white rum
1 oz pineapple vinegar
.50 oz agave
.75 lime juice
3 sage leave
Add all ingredients into a shaker, shake well and strain into a rocks glass
