LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Listen up, fanilows and little monsters!

He may be coming up on his 70th birthday, but Barry Manilow says he’d love to collaborate with 26-year-old Lady Gaga.

“What I love about her is that she’s so mature for a young girl,” the singer – who will kick off a one-month run at New York City’s historic St. James Theatre on Thursday – told Access Hollywood in an exclusive interview. “Her advice to people, you know, is just beautiful. She must be raised by a great family.

And of course, in addition to Gaga’s message of love and acceptance, there’s her immense musical talent.

“She’s a real singer, she’s a real musician, it all comes through,” Barry raved. “I think she’s great.”

Though Barry is about to hit the big 7 – 0, the legendary singer shows no signs of slowing down.

“I’m still hungry,” he told Access. “At 70 you think, you know, I should retire or I should go on a cruise or whatever people do, but I just can’t even imagine stopping.”
