LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

It was a sci-fi lovers dream when Batman star Christian Bale stepped out for lunch with a former Batman baddie, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, in the Brentwood neighborhood of LA this past Sunday.

Christian and Arnold have more in common than appearing in films about the caped-crusader. Arnold starred in “Terminator(s) 1, 2 & 3,” pursuing Sarah Connor, then protecting a young John Connor (twice). Christian is currently filming the fourth installment in the series — “Terminator: Salvation” — playing a grown up version of Connor.

Arnold is heavily rumored to be making a guest appearance in the new “Terminator” film, but whether the two movie stars talked shop, politics or raising children, only the salad forks – and their wives, Maria Shriver and Sibi Blazic – know.
