LOS ANGELES (October 10, 2006) — The Bionic Woman is being tweaked for the 21st century.

David Eick, who produces the current “Battlestar Galactica,” tells Variety he’s taking the title of the old show and going in a different direction.

Eick says the new “Bionic Woman” will deal with professional women in society and how they handle all the jobs they’re expected to do in a day.
