Discovery Star Bear Grylls Becomes A Third-Time Dad

LONDON, U.K. -- Caption Bear Grylls speaks for the Discovery Channel portion of the Television Critics Association Press Tour at the Beverly Hilton Hotel July 13, 2007He’s eaten snakes, drank his own urine and worn his underwear on his head during life-risking trips to the desert and the rainforests, but “Man vs. Wild” star Bear Grylls has a new challenge – he’s now a father of three.

Bear’s wife Shara gave birth to the couple’s third little boy – Huckleberry Edward Jocelyn Grylls, according to reports.

The baby weighed in at 7lbs., 7 oz., a rep for the daredevil told People.

The Discovery channel hunk is already dad to sons Jesse and Marmaduke.

In related news, the adventuring Brit recently made a trip to the Antartica, but the visit left him with a crushed shoulder.

“My right shoulder and clavicle bones were smashed apart in a kite-skiing fall in high winds and sub-zero temperatures,” Bear wrote on his blog last month. “The UK surgeon I have just seen on my arrival back… reckons this will take about 10 weeks to mend.”
