LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- And just like that, he’s gone (baby gone)!
One week after Kristen Stewart confirmed she was set to star alongside Ben Affleck in the upcoming Warner Bros. comedy, “Focus,” Affleck has dropped out of the project.
A rep for the “Argo” star told Entertainment Weekly scheduling conflicts were to blame for Ben’s sudden exit.

The actor was set to play a veteran swindler, whose life grows complicated after he takes a newbie grifter (Stewart) under his wing and, of course, the pair become romantically involved.
The movie’s lead roles were initially pitched for “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, but both actors had scheduling conflicts, according to Variety.
Production on “Focus” begins in April.
