LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Ben Affleck won an Oscar for his writing skills on 1997’s “Good Will Hunting,” but when it comes to his romantic e-mails to wife Jennifer Garner – the actor wishes that she kept that skill of his private.
“I do write e-mails to my wife, that is true,” a coy Ben told Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday when asked about Jen’s recent interview in Parade, where she revealed Ben’s skill at crafting a sexy e-mail.
“Sounds like the kind of thing that my wife was looking for something to say in the interview… and that’s what she same up with,” a slightly embarrassed Ben said.
“So, thanks for that, because now here I am, doing another interview and then they ask me about that,” he joked. “So, thank you honey.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jennifer told Parade Magazine that Ben is a “a very persuasive writer,” when it comes to his online communication with her.
And the actress said that even with two kids, the couple finds time to be romantic.
“You steal the time. You steal a date, you steal a kiss, you steal a whisper. You sit next to each other on the couch with computers on your laps. After the kids are asleep you…well, you know,” she told the mag. “Whatever it is. You slip away for a night, which we’ve only just now done for the first time. Of course, I call home while we’re away. Ben would be surprised if I didn’t.”
