LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Paris Hilton has joined the legendary likes of Linda McCartney, Patti Boyd, Kate Moss and Edie Sedgwick, in becoming a muse for her musician beau.

Paris told People, her boyfriend, Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden, has penned her a love ode.

“He actually wrote me a beautiful song, and actually recorded it in the studio,” Hilton said. “He surprised me with it. It’s called, ‘Shine Your Light.’ It’s this really beautiful love song about me. It was the sweetest thing that anyone has ever done for me.”

Paris has been inseparable from Benji, since the two started dating two months ago. After heading out on tour with him to Africa and England, she recently turned up at California’s Coachella this past weekend, driving up just before Prince’s headlining Saturday set in a black SUV with the rocker.

She told People on Monday that Benji might be her closest boyfriend yet.

“He’s my best friend,” she said. “He’s just different from any guy that I’ve ever been with. I just trust him completely, and I know that he’d be there for me, no matter what.”

Paris was previously engaged to shipping heir Paris Latsis several years ago, but when asked if she has marriage on her mind these days, the celebutante wasn’t ready to lock things down.

“I don’t know,” Hilton says with a smile, “My life’s a lot different now, I’m very much at peace, and I’m so happy, and in control, and so very excited about life.”
