Nashville Rising Benefit Concert Led By Faith Hill, Tim McGraw Raises $2.2M For Flood Victims

NASHVILLE, Tenn.

The Nashville Rising benefit concert led by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw has raised over $2.2 million for flood victims in middle Tennessee.

The total came from sold-out ticket sales, donations and sponsorships. It will be distributed through the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

“I started digging through like old boxes of stuff and finding old Polaroids of my dad from 1964,” the 48-year-old country singer said. “I thought, if I can become my dad — if I can be Ronald Ray Cyrus in 1964 — then that’s this guy. Just go be your dad.”
