QUEENSLAND, Australia --

Bindi Irwin, the plucky daughter of the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, celebrated her 10th birthday in Australia on Wednesday, with a giant cake bearing her father’s image.

Bindi, her mother Terri, and brother Jack celebrated the wildlife lover’s double digit birthday at the Australia Zoo, where the family and well-wishers dined on cake, which was emblazoned with a family photo of Steve, Terri and Bindi.

According to the Australia Zoo, thousands of patrons turned up for the celebration, which included performances from the top four dancers of the down under version of “So You Think You Can Dance,” who strutted their stuff especially for the pony-tailed pre-teen.

“It was so exciting! To have these amazing dancers coming to my birthday and dance in the Crocoseum was [over the top]!” Bindi said.

And the day had more fun in store for the Discovery Kids star, as the zoo built a snowfield in the middle of the attraction allowing for tobogganing and snowman making fun.

“I love having my birthday at Australia Zoo,” Bindi said.

But she also took the opportunity to draw attention to her late conservationist father.

According to the Australian Daily Telegraph, Bindi asked Miner Cape Alumina not to mine the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve. The company announced in June that they would begin mining on property that overlaps the Irwin Reserve.

“If there’s one thing I really want for my birthday, that is for the mining company not to mine my daddy’s reserve,” she said.
