Kate Hudson & Matt Bellamy Name Son Bingham

Matt, frontman for British rockers Muse, revealed the couple named their baby Bingham.

“So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham ‘Bing’ Hawn Bellamy. Born 7Ib 12Oz, on 9th July,” he Tweeted on Thursday afternoon, revealing the full name of the couple’s first child together.

Hawn is the surname of Kate’s mother, Bingham’s grandmother, Goldie Hawn.

Matt went on to praise his actress fiancee for her efforts in the delivery room.

“Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!” he added.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Kate gave birth to the couple’s son on July 9, the actress’ rep confirmed over the weekend.

Bing is Kate’s second child. His older brother – Ryder, 7 – is Kate’s son by now ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.
