In today’s Healthy Hollywood feature: Fitness guru Bob Harper is on a mission to motivate women to get fit by summer.

“The Biggest Loser” trainer recently led thousands of workout enthusiasts in Central Park as part of SELF Magazine’s Workout in the Park.

Harper put together the ultimate body-blasting workout and declared the burpee exercise to be the “best overall body move to get your heart pumping.” He also encourages women to do push-ups, planks, squats and jumping lunges to get their body beach-ready.

Harper, who also released his latest diet book, “Skinny Meals,” shared with Healthy Hollywood a few of his weight loss tips.

  1. Incorporate protein into every meal.
  2. Bulk up on vegetables.
  3. Don’t drink your calories
  4. No carbs after lunch.
  5. No one’s going to be perfect always — it’s all about the 80/20 plan. 80 percent of the time do your best to eat healthy and make smart choices, then allow yourself a cheat day or a special snack, that’s the 20 percent — and the key to staying on track and finding a balance that’s maintainable for the long-term.
