Bob Saget: I 'Forbid' My Daughters To Watch 'Full House'
Bob Saget played the lovable Danny Tanner for eight years on “Full House,” winning over millions of fans.
Despite the hit show’s family-friendly themes, the comedian says he had a strict anti-“Full House” viewing policy when it came to his own daughters!
“I kind of forbid them to watch it… it was forbidden,” Bob told Kit Hoover and Billy Bush on Wednesday’s Access Hollywood Live, when asked if his three daughters enjoyed “Full House.”
“It was a kids’ show. It was a lovely, family kids’ show, but I’d done it all day,” he explained. “Would you go home and watch a kids’ show after you did it all morning?”
The comedian – whose new memoir, “Dirty Daddy,” is in stores now – also said he’s watching “Dancing with the Stars” faithfully this season to support his fellow “Full House” alum Candace Cameron Bure.
“I am [watching], and I’m voting… people gotta vote for her!” he said. “She’s amazing on this thing. She’s a beautiful girl.”
Adding, “And her husband’s beautiful – he’s got a 19-pack! I want her to win.”
