LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Neil Jordan, creator of Showtime’s “The Borgias,” has released an E-Book, detailing what would have been the end of his cable television series.
“The Borgia Apocalypse: The Screenplay,” just hit E-Book retailers, including Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
The script, according to Showtime, which announced the news on Tuesday, is based on his original, two-hour finale script for the drama.
“The Borgias” starred Jeremy Irons. Showtime recently opted not to renew the series.
When Showtime pulled the plug on “The Borgias” some fans were so upset, they arranged for a costumed protest outside the network’s presentation at the Television Critics Association Summer Tour earlier this month in Beverly Hills. (See a photo here.)
They also reportedly sent sardines to Showtime to express their displeasure.
