Former Alaska governor-turned-reality star/political pundit Sarah Palin hasn’t made it to the White House yet, but there’s another Palin with possible political aspirations.
While promoting her Lifetime reality TV series, “Life’s a Tripp,” on Thursday on Fox News, Bristol Palin was asked about possibly following in her mother’s footsteps and running for office one day.
“I don’t think I’d shut it (word missing? Out?) completely yet,” she told Sean Hannity. “I’m only 21, but not any time soon.”
The single mother, who had son Tripp with Playgirl model Levi Johnston, would not chime in on whether her mother would seek office once again.
“We all have tough skin. We’re all strong. Our roots are very grounded,” she said. “Whatever she does, we’re going to support her.”
Bristol did express remorse over Levi’s alleged lack of involvement in his son’s life, saying she was “sad that Tripp doesn’t have an active father figure.”
Her “Life’s a Tripp,” has yet to air (the series debuts on June 19 on Lifetime), but the former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant appears to already have some regrets surrounding the show.
“If I would have known it was my own name and so much in my life is gonna be shown on this show, I think I would reconsider it and think about it more,” she explained.
