LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Fresh off the resolution of her child custody battle, Britney Spears lent her star power to worthy cause helping kids battle autism.
The pop star and mother of two made an appearance at Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey’s fundraiser for Generation Rescue, which benefits autism research Saturday night.
Britney appeared to be in good spirits, according to fundraiser guests.
“She looked great and seemed really happy,” a party guest told People. “She smiled and clapped during the video about autism. She was very into the information and watched a little bit of the dancers from ‘Dancing With the Stars’, sneaking out during one of the performances.”
Brit wasn’t the only celeb stepping out for the good cause. Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller were also spotted at the event, along with director Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan.
Inside the event, host Jim Carrey kept spirits high by challenging another partygoer to a “Dancing With the Stars” style dance-off.
