LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Britney Spears’ pal and self-proclaimed manager, Sam Lutfi, was finally served with a temporary restraining order on Thursday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Lutfi must now keep at least 250 yards away from Britney, her homes and her family, according to the court papers.

The restraining order was sought by Britney’s co-conservators — her father, Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallett, earlier this month.

According to Jamie, Lutfi had been avoiding being served for the last three weeks. He was served at 11AM as he left his Los Angeles-area apartment.

In the request for the order, Jamie claims Lutfi “drugged Britney” and “has cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He claims to control everything.”

When the request for the order was filed earlier this month, Britney’s mother Lynne filed a six-page declaration supporting her husband’s request for the order, which painted a frightening portrait of Lutfi.

Lynne alleged that during a recent conversation she had with Lutfi, he claimed Britney would die and he would soil her grave if Britney's family tried to interfere in his relationship with the pop star.

"Sam told me, ‘You’d better learn that I control everything. I control Howard Grossman, Britney’s business manager. I control her attorneys and the security guards at the gate. They don’t listen to Britney, they listen to me,'" Lynne claimed Sam said. "At another point that evening, Sam bragged to me that he is the one who receives Britney’s checks."

"He told me that if he weren’t in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself," Lynne’s statement continued. "Then he said to me, ‘If you try to get rid of me, she’ll be dead and I’ll p*** on her grave."

In related Britney news, a federal judge has now given attorney Jon Eardley (who claims to be representing Britney) until February 22 to prove the pop star’s conservatorship case should be moved to the federal level because he claims it is violating her civil rights.

The February 22 deadline is now a week sooner than the original date of February 29, which was originally issued as the deadline.

Unless Eardley can convince the judge the matter of Britney’s estate should be decided by a federal court, the case will be returned to the LA Superior Court.
